Father of forgiveness, we aspire to live more like you this day.
The world has so many assumptions about how followers of Christ look, sound, behave, worship. It's ironic when they don't know or follow you.
Keep us in check and out of the expectations of others. We devote ourselves to your approval, vowing to curve the appeal and acceptance the world offers when necessary.
Place us in situations with genuine hearts, whole imperfection, but complete reverence and praise.
We say Yes to you, when that may mean no to ourselves. Ultimately, it's not about self, rather it's about the Savior. And with that, we're completely covered. Undefined by the world and unbothered to the limited view.
